On July 2, 2026, the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the social club "Shynga Orleu", is holding the festive festival "KASIETTI DOMBIRA – ULTT MURASY", dedicated to the National Day of Dombra.

The main purpose of the event will be the popularization of the Kazakh national musical instrument dombra, increasing the interest of the younger generation in the national culture, as well as the promotion of spiritual and cultural values.

As part of the festival, the participants, under the guidance of mentors, perform a potpourri of Kurmangazi, Dauletkerei, Tattimbet and Nurpeisova's Religion and give the audience a special spiritual and emotional impression. In the educational part of the event, a quiz for children and adults will be organized, during which participants will be able to demonstrate their knowledge of the Kazakh kyu, the history of dombra and national musical instruments.

Also, dombra maker Meyrbek Dilmanov conducts a master class and is endowed with the subtleties of craftsmanship. In addition, participants will be able to get acquainted with the exhibition of original copies of national instruments belonging to great personalities of Kazakhstan, as well as watch the animated film "Aksak Kulan" in the cinema hall of the museum.
