The opening of «The Colours of Life», an exhibition presented by the «ДАРиЯ» Art Studio, will take place at the National Central Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 24 October 2026 at 12 p.m.
The «ДАРиЯ» Art Studio was founded in 2016. Over the past ten years, more than 1,000 children have studied drawing and painting there. For many, their first encounter with the visual arts inspired them to pursue creative careers. The studio is proud of its students who have studied, or are currently studying, on scholarships at universities and colleges in Kazakhstan and abroad, including O. Tansykbayev Almaty College of Decorative and Applied Arts, KazGASA, KazNPU, AKSIM, Symbat, and institutions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, London, and Prague. «ДАРиЯ» students regularly participate in city, national, and international exhibitions, where they have won awards.
«The Colours of Life» is a project that offers many ways to see the world around us. It invites us to notice special moments and express our feelings through art. Colours can be bright or muted, joyful or sad, warm or cool, bold or calm, but, above all, they can be truthful.
The exhibition aims to support and promote artistic creativity, nurture aesthetic appreciation and creative thinking among young people, and encourage interest in visual art as a way of understanding the world and expressing oneself.
The exhibition brings together works in a variety of styles and genres. The young artists express their emotions and feelings through a rich palette of colours. A portrait of a mother conveys love and respect; a landscape reflects wonder and admiration for nature; and a still life explores composition, light and colour. Whatever the technique, each work carries its own mood, message and distinctive palette.
Each work is a conversation with the viewer through colour. The artists differ in age, technique and perspective, yet they share a love of art and a desire to create beauty.
The exhibition features 100 works by the participating artists.
The exhibition will run until 6 November 2026.
Address: Samal-1/44, Almaty.
