3-5.02.2017, Central Asian Crafts Fair dedicated to XXVIII World Winter Universiade
From 3rd to 5th February, 2017 in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be held Central Asian Crafts Fair, dedicated to XXVIII World Winter Universiade in Almaty.
A fair is not only the acquisition of craft products, but also the knowledge of own history through crafts. An item of applied art will not leave indifferent any visitor. For Almaty residents and guests of the southern capital it is always a holiday, a bright cultural event.
At the exhibition more than 100 artisans will take part. Artisans from all regions of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Russia will present their handicrafts. A wide range of gift and souvenir products: clothes, felt and silk items, carpets, jewelry, ceramics, musical instruments, oriental miniature, fine examples of the author's design objects and many other unusual items will be presented.
For the Universiade original articles on the topic of sport - felt panels, ceramic products, wooden boxes, as well as souvenirs (Zhangutty Kulyan - felt, Ongar Madiyar - wood, Lvovich Alexander - ceramics) were prepared. Every guest will find own gift for the soul. No one can remain indifferent, plunged into the atmosphere of the colorful bazaar.
Fair hours: 3rd -5th February, 2017 from 9.00 to 18.00.
