17.11.2016 The exhibition «The bell of the steppe» (Kazakh enlightener Ibrai Altynsarin)
On 17th November, 2016 at 15.00 Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will host the opening of the exhibition «The bell of the steppe».
In connection with the 175th anniversary of the outstanding Kazakh enlightener Ibrai Altynsarin (1841-1889), as well as to promote his life and creative heritage the Central State Museum of the Republic Kazakhstan jointly with FAO NTSPK «Өрлеу» the Republican Institute of advanced training of scientific-pedagogical and management staff of Kazakhstan education system opens this exhibition.
Ibrahim Altynsarin received universal recognition as an educator and a pioneer in the history of social thought, culture and literature, the organizer of schools of a new direction, ethnographer, folklore researcher, poet, novelist and translator of Russian classics.
A worthy place in the exhibition occupy rare exhibits from the CSM RK funds: his pocket watch, manuscripts and publications concerning the life and work of the educator, photographs, letters and materials of his family and students.
Along with the writings and research of such scholars writers as A.Margulan, G. Kairbekov, A. Sydykov, Sh. Akhmetov who studied the life and work, as well as the rich heritage of the prominent figure, translations from foreign languages and previously unknown publication published in recent years are also presented.
Along with valuable exhibits revealing the contents of the subject, the exhibition significantly enlarged with copies of photos and documents of prominent Kazakh educator-teacher kindly provided by the Central State Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Center for Film-documentary photographs and sound recordings of CSA RK, I.Altynsarin memorial museum of Kostanai region, museum of Arkalyk State Pedagogical Institute named after I.Altynsarin, as well as manuscripts, photographs and other personal items of relative of I.Altynsarin - national writer of Kazakhstan, famous poetess Maryam Khakimzhanova and her students Ahmet Balgimbaev, B.Aktamberlin, Spandiyar Kobeev, Zhamaleddin Beisenov.
Visitors can get acquainted with the exhibits of «Өрлеу» the Republican Institute of advanced training of scientific-pedagogical and management staff of Kazakhstan education system - the bust of the educator, "Mamani" school model, school desk, as well as books and educational publications on creativity of Ibrai Altynsarin proposed by the National state book chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
After the grand opening of the exhibition a seminar «Ұстаздың ұлағаты» of renowned scientists of our country to teachers and schoolchildren, as well as for students of higher educational institutions will be carried out.
The exhibition runs until 31st December, 2016.
28.09.2016 Opens the photo exhibition-competition "Focus - freedom of speech"
Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan in partnership with the International Foundation for Protection of Speech Freedom «Әділ сөз» and International Network for the freedom of expression IFEX, UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty and the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan on 28 September, 2016 at 15.00 opens an exhibition-competition of photos "Focus - freedom of speech".
For the first time on 28 September the world marks the International Day for the universal access to information (IDUAI), which established in 2015 according to Declaration of the United Nations and UNESCO Member States and is an integral part of the right to freedom of expression, in 1946 in the adopted UN 59th General Assembly resolution, as well as 19th article of the Universal Declaration of human rights and in 19th article of the International Covenant on civil and political rights.
The aim of the competition is to develop and maintain the documentary genre, the political picture - one of the most fascinating and complex challenges in terms of photojournalism. The authors tell about the serious problems of journalists in obtaining information and dangers of investigative journalism, narrate about other barriers on the way of a free press. At the exhibition more than 80 works of the participants-contestants are presented.
At the opening of the exhibition the winners by prizes and diplomas will be awarded.
22.04.2016. The exhibition of art works "Color melody", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 30th anniversary of the "Kok-aishyk" art studio.
22nd April, 2016 at 16.00 Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the studio of the fine art "Kok-aishyk" opens the exhibition of art works "Color melody", dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 30th anniversary of the "Kok-aishyk" art studio.
The museum in cultural and educational activities along with the exhibition of famous artists of Kazakhstan carry out children's art exhibitions of art studios and boarding schools for children with disabilities.
At this time the museum will present to fans of fine and decorative art works of children engaged in the art studio "Kok-aishuk". For 30 years teachers with artistic education and years of experience with preschoolers and schoolchildren, as well as an adult category of the population of our city are engaged. The learning process at the formation of the artistic activity of skills, development of value-semantic perception and understanding of art, the development of children creativity, artistic ability and thinking is aimed. In the course of art education includes basic knowledge on three main subjects: drawing, painting and spatial composition. Familiarity with basic types and genres of art makes it possible to determine the potential and direction in artistic activities.
Over the years the art studio "Kok-ayshyқ" produced a generation of talented young people who have participated in regional, urban, national and international exhibitions in Finland, China, Turkey, Ukraine (Kiev, Kherson), Russia (Moscow) as well as in Kazakhstan in ultra-competition exhibition from Samsung, the project "Sustainable transport of Almaty", etc. Works of the Studio were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes. Some students continue their education in art schools and art universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan and abroad.
The exhibition includes about 500 works of art studio pupils. Different techniques and materials: pastel, ink, watercolor, gouache, pencil, pointillism, mixed media is used.
The exhibition runs until 6th May, 2016.
25.04.2016 The exhibition "Chernobyl - the nuclear tragedy of the XX century" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the nuclear disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
On 25th April 2016 at 15.00 the Central State museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan will open the exhibition "Chernobyl - the nuclear tragedy of the XX century" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the nuclear disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
There was an explosion which went down in history as a tragedy of global proportions 30 years ago. The accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has become one of the largest man-made disasters in the history of mankind. By its power the nuclear power explosion at the Chernobyl plant in ten times larger than the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The elimination of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster was attended by 321 military units from all over the Soviet Union, among them were Kazakhs. 27th regiment of chemical protection was formed in Akmola region in the Vyacheslavka village. From 1986 to 1989 in the 31743 regiment Kazakh soldiers-liquidators have served. Here the military unit № 240 on the basis of the 27th Kazakh similar regiment was formed.
Every day risking their lives and health, Kazakh soldiers-liquidators rescued people from the radiation death. Under the threat of radioactive contamination was the whole of Europe. Kazakh soldiers-liquidators courageously and bravely fulfilled their military duties.
The purpose of the exhibition is to show self-sacrificing heroic work of Kazakhstani soldiers -liquidators, who with honor and dignity have fulfilled their military and patriotic duty.
The nuclear disaster of Chernobyl served as a bitter and sad lesson for all countries in the world and once again reaffirmed the truth that the main task of the world community - ensuring of global security and the liberation of our planet from all nuclear weapons.
At the exhibition experimental uniform of 1983, which was used by soldiers-liquidators, dosimeter - a device for determining a dose of radiation exposure, personal protective equipment against radiation - a gas mask and a respirator, photographs of soldiers-liquidators, books and awards of participants are presented.
At the opening of the exhibition are invited: Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in Kazakhstan, Consul General (Russia), Consul General of Japan, major of Almaty, city council of veterans, city branch of "Nur Otan" party , the Central Council of the generals, veterans' organizations of Almaty, as well as cadets of military institute.
20.04.2016. Memorial exhibition «Қазақтың Кәукені» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Kauken Kenzhetayev
On 20th April, 2016 in the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan at 15.00 opens memorial exhibition «Қазақтың Кәукені» dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR Kauken Kenzhetayev (1916-2008) - singer, actor, director, playwright, laureate of International Prize of Chingiz Aitmatov, laureate of independent award "Tarlan".
The creativity of Kauken Kenzhetayev occupies a special place in the Kazakh national art. He is well-known for the general audience for memorable film images of historical figures and contemporary films: "Our dear doctor", "On wings of song", "Kyz Zhibek", "On the trail of Tulpar (horse)", "Gaukhartas" and others.
K. Kenzhetayev was born in 1916 in Bayanaul district of Pavlodar region. In 1935-41 he studied at the Kazakh studio under the Moscow Conservatory. From 1942-1946 he worked in the song and dance ensemble of the border guards in Khabarovsk. In 1950 he successfully graduated from the vocal faculty of the Alma-Ata Conservatory of A.M. Kurganov. From that time begins a long and happy career of K. Kenzhetaev as a singer and actor.
The creativity of Kauken Kenzhetayev is multifaceted. It covers a variety of genres. As a director he has staged E. Brusilovsky "Er Targyn", "Zhalbyr", "Kyz Zhibek", "Amangeldy" S. Muhamedzhanov "Aisulu", E. Rakhmadiyev "Alpamys", P.I. Tchaikovsky "The Queen of Spades" and acted as Targyn, Bekezhan (in the operas "Er Targyn","Kyz Zhibek"), Ruslan (in Glinka's opera "Ruslan and Lyudmila") and others. His plays «Алдар көсенің айласы», «Хусни-Қорлан», «Қаңбақ шал», «Күйші», «Қалқаман-Мамыр», «Кемпір мен шал» included in the treasury of the Kazakh performing art.
Since 1979, he engaged in teaching activities in the Kazakh Academy of Arts named after T.Zhurgenov, in the department of musical comedy, he trained not one generation of talented actors and singers of opera.
Outstanding merits of Kauken Kenzhetayev in art and pedagogy marked by high state awards - medals and the Orders of Red Banner of Labor, the October Revolution, "Parasat", "Otan".
At the exhibition photographs, awards, personal belongings, books, posters, family archive documents from the Central Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the materials of his wife - Kazakh opera singer, People's Artist of the Kazakh SSR Shabal Beysekova from the History Museum (Almaty) funds are presented. For the first time from the CSM RK funds a unique collection of sketches of decoration, scene costumes of performances, in which participated K. Kenzhetayev, performed by famous artists of Kazakhstan A. Nenashev and S. Romanov are exhibited.
At the grand opening of the exhibition invited famous figures of art and culture, family and relatives, admirers of Kenzhetayev talent.
