Personal exhibition "Life and symbols of ancient artifacts" by the architect, artist, member of the Union of Artists of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Tamara Volkova. Tamara Vladimirovna Volkova was born on March 7, 1946, in Kyrgyzstan. She grew up and studied in the East Kazakhstan region. Graduate of the Moscow Architectural Institute. For many years she was engaged in painting as an amateur, and now - on a professional basis. She has a great practical and creative experience, which she wants to share with those who are passionate about art.

T. Volkova is a multifaceted artist, a free creative person with very diverse interests, boldly experimenting with forms, using new techniques and materials, working in various styles and techniques: canvas, oil; pastel; tempera, gouache; frescoes, collages; terraplast; wood burning, macrame, papier-mâché, wooden crafts. The object of her work is nature, people, the world order and the Universe, architectural structures, city sights, various symbols and much more. The images on her canvases are not accidental and they are all united by a common theme. Often, the impetus for the creation of works is a parable heard, a literary text read, a study of history and sources.
