04.10.2019 The traditional autumn Central Asian crafts exhibition "ArtBazar - GOLDEN APPLE".

On October 4-6, 2019, the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Bakhyt Center for Decorative and Applied Arts, holds the traditional autumn Central Asian crafts exhibition "ArtBazar - GOLDEN APPLE".

Autumn gives inexhaustible creative inspiration to artists, sculptures, artisans. The exhibition presents the multifaceted work of artists of arts and crafts. An apple is not only a symbol of Almaty, but also a favorite topic of creativity of most artists of Kazakhstan. One character, an inexhaustible fantasy on the topic of familiar things, but conveyed by each master in his own way. Apples that became the main theme of this exhibition: still lifes and landscapes, portraits and genre scenes, made in different types of technique – watercolor, oil, graphics. Masters transferred this symbol to their products: jewelry, panels, tapestries, products from felt, leather, batik.
Masters from Kazakhstan and Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Russia) took part. The assortment of the exhibition is diverse. Designer jewelry, clothes, stylish bags and cosmetic bags, jewelry, designer toys, rugs, ceramics, handmade soap and cosmetics, interior items, souvenirs, silk, felt, leather products, musical instruments, oriental miniature, ceramics, textiles, knitwear, etc. were presented.

Within the framework of the exhibition-fair, based on the article of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan “The Seven Faces of the Great Steppe”, a republican contest “A Modern Look at Traditional National Art” hold, announced in the Year of Youth among school students, students of art colleges and universities.
