The PR-action “Night in museum 2012”

The Central State museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on 18th May, 2012 from 4.00 p.m. till the midnight already in seventh time carry out the PR-action “Night in museum 2012”.
 
Since 1978 museum workers all over the world on 18th May, celebrates the professional holiday. The first who have opened doors of museums at night was the museums of Germany (1997). Idea adopted by all museums of Europe and Russia. And since 2006 the Central State museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan began to coduct for Almaty citizens and visitors of city the PR-action “Night in museum”. During this time the action became attractive and expected event in cultural calendar of Almaty. Annually in this day museum visits more than 6000 persons.

The purpose of the given PR-action - formation among visitors representation about museum not only as scientific, cultural-educational institute, but also as attractive and popular place of evening and night leisure for all categories of the population.

The international day of museums is not only professional holiday for those who is directly connected with a museum, but also for those to whom not indifference ideas of preservation and popularization of a cultural heritage of Kazakhstan to whom MUSEUM valuable as special institute of culture.

This evening the museum offers free excursions on exposition halls, opening of exhibitions, night cinema hall, fair and the master-classes of handicraftsmen, and also the bright and informative concert program.

The Central State museum invites all volunteers masters-handicraftsmen to take part in fair-sale and the master-classes for visitors, and also creative collectives for performance in the concert program.

The Central State museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan waits for all on 18th May, from 4.00 p.m. till the midnight!
